Both my grandsons (17 and 13) played Fortnite for about a month and then just got bored with it so their "addictive" programming doesn't work well for everybody.
They play far more Minecraft and there are no purchases involved. Can't for the life of me figure out what is so fun about it since every time I ask what they are doing the answer is always "planting corn and breeding cows".
Pretty much a farm simulator with bad graphics.

650w with what components?
Brand/model of PSU?
Age?

Next time it happens take a look at the system logs in event viewer.
Should point you to the culprit.

I've gone looking in the event viewer but haven't been apple to find anything.
Admittedly, I don't know what to look for.

What GPU/CPU/RAM/drives do you have.

If there is enough power for the computer, then maybe failing PSU.

Just fr clarification.
In event viewer.
Windows Logs>System

In there, look for errors/critical errors.
Click on them and see if anything in the "general" box points to something like a driver or memory issue.

You're absolutely right, there absolutely will be DLC; however, if we go by how Witcher 3 went, I have reason to believe that 2077's DLC will have enough content to be worth the price. I'd hardly call it a microtransaction at this point, but regardless, it's probably more accurate to say that there are games that don't rely on P2W or a variety of cosmetic microtransactions.

Yeah it doesnt seem to be the heavy microtransaction model. I am still stubborn and hate that stuff is not unlockable with skill and they expect you to spend 200+ to basically get the "full game." FFXV was my most recent gripe because after the DLC it was almost 200 seeing as I got the ultimate version to begin with, then they drop a version that has all DLC included for less. I didnt even purchase the DLC but it's annoying that I missed out on some of the game.

Also fighting games....wtf. you used to have to unlock characters with skill, now you buy them. Their costumes etc.... gtfoh. Modern gaming is just plain greedy. Just sell me the whole thing for 80 bucks and let me unlock everything using skill.
