Was under the impression Vorschlag exhaust (long tubes back) will be part of a stage in a kit, I could be wrong though, I do have issues with it if you want to PM me. Personally I would do your own exhaust solution, you almost have to go with shorties or stock manifold on this car unless you want to introduce all sorts of other issues, trust me I'm living with them and as soon as I can these long tubes are going bye bye. What ever gains I lose can easily be made up elsewhere.....just saying, others may have the patience or make them work. Originally it is not what I wanted anyway, but I took one for the team... LOL!....stupid me.

I hear what you're saying about about exhaust clearance and tight fitment issues...I've had to bang and dent some headers and exhaust in the past to make them fit right. I ran across this video today and it's worth watching.

How about some $150 Up/Forward or Down/Forward Turbo Headers. Then you just have to route a downpipe or two AND make crazy power.

eBay LS Turbo Header

In that second video...Are those cast iron hooker manifolds the ones you were talking about @cf6mech?

Headers are almost always a pain to install...but I love what long tubes do for the sound of the exhaust, for me the power gain is secondary. With heat and clearance being such an issue on this car, I'll definitely be having them ceramic coated inside and out.

Heat issues cooking rear brake lines and having oem placement of front sway bar, among other issue....

Great video and the reason why I'm opting for the cast iron Hooker manifold, my engine is stock and makes more than enough horsepower for my purpose, having them explain on a stock engine long tubes make little to no difference was helpful .

Disclaimer, I did not watch the video so don't know what the result is
But you Need a tune to get the gain from the long tube and you will need a tune for the swap

That is common knowledge.

Clutch, Fuel Fittings, and exhaust should be here today. Though my Summit Racing order says it is out for deliver in a town about 30 minutes outside the city I live it. So we will see if it actually arrives. Going to give them a call and double check.

I think I am going to try and make a video documenting the swap so other have something to go off of.

Please do, and it doesn't have to be too long, just even a run down of all your parts would be awesome.

Summit Order Came in. I went ahead and opened it (mostly because I am not patient enough to wait) because my Grandpa is almost as excited for the project and wanted to see what came in. (Though he said buying a '57 Chevy would have been easier).

I'll get a video of the Summit Packages/whats inside, as well as the exhaust.

So everybody know you need a tune
But if you gonna go through the hassle of swapping then it's worth Going the xtra mile to include the long tube.
400whp maybe a lot of power at lower speed in lower gear but doing highway pull in 3rd and taller gear you gonna find out you need another 100hp or so to take the car into the 10s
With the twin 400whp will only take it to about a high 11s , Im guessing based on my FM built LS3 NB Miata which currently weigh in at 2667lbs and pull 400whp on a dyno jet
