I will definitely be running a surge tank. I like the Radium one best currently.

The 3000lbs makes the 245 come close to marginal. 245s on 2800lbs at 300hp is full go from a couple of Hoosier experts. I already checked for you...well, for me but you beat me there. I can ask this weekend for you.

I can't wait to see this build happen. I wanted an S2000 so bad, but I just don't fit in them.

It has been an OEM accessory for years, but it was actually included on the later CR models. I am not a fan of the OEM hard top look though, and I feel like if Honda made an S2000 coupe that it would have followed the lines of the Mugen hard top. The OEM hard top looks like it is an OEM hard top thrown on top of a convertible where if I painted the Mugen hard top it would look just like a coupe.

Is there an aero advantage for one over the other? I'd imagine the Mugen hardtop would flow smoother.

I haven't seen any definitive proof, but I am actually losing .3 in my adjusted weight/power ratio because I am running the Mugen top and not the OEM top. I am sure any possible aero advantage would not be greater than the extra 15 horsepower I could have. It just looks so much damn cooler and sometimes that is reason enough.

Negligible even though it is stated that it's better. The Spoon one does give better aero, but S2ks rather have more power than better aero for that instance. LOL
