I see you drive a 135i? I have installed countless sets of AST's on 1M's and M3's. They are TRACK only coils. Very noisy, BUT They perform amazing.

Also remember, a lot of people purchase coilovers to just go low vs functionality. What are your plans?

I had AST4100 on my 135i and it was actually no noise at all. it was comfortable on the street and also doing good on the track, thats why i want to try them again.
I don't really care about comfortable or not, I just need them to perform well on the track.

What is your experience and what are your goals? I think I'd be well suited to assist, AND you're local to me.

Hey Mike,
I saw you many time on the track already, this is Nick with the white FRS. I pretty much know what i need, but I asked couple places for price and ETA, some say its long wait to have them make, some say its not even out yet, so I don't know which is true and wondering if there is people are actually using them in our car.

AST 4150s are still in development. They are dual purpose, not track only. I had a prototype set on my car for development purposes. Hoping to have a final revision on my car (once it's running again) by years end.

Didn't even read the model number sorry.

All the AST's I have installed are 5100's and they all make some sort of noise from inside the shock over bumps. All the cheapy coilovers people bring don't make a single noise which is funny.
