ISC Rear Lower Control Arms

Got these in the other day and wanted to show them off. ISC Suspension has been around a while and offers some good suspension options for vehicles out there. They have a set of coilovers as well which we will talk about later. For now the rear LCA's are another good option for those needing to adjust our cars rear camber.

ISC Suspensions LCA for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ feature a pillow ball joint and are designed to secure traction and stability during acceleration under high speed cornering.

These arms allow for adjustment of camber in the rear of the vehicle. This is essential for lowered vehicles or race prepared vehicles. These are a nice lightweight billet aluminum piece ready for the track or street.

I had their coilovers on my m3, very stiff but good quality and a good price. I'd assume these are of equal quality so cool!

What's the point of remaking the exact same straight piece as the stock arms? A truly useful design would be to lower the mounting point where the rear strut mounts to the arm to allow more suspension stroke back when you lower the car. The rear strut setup already has a very tiny stroke, I don't see any benefits of this arm other than allowing for more adjustment with camber because of the adjustable ball joint.

Now these Stance LCA seems to have some engineering behind it.

If they're strong enough, they're a lot heavier than they need to be... Don't understand why TWO different aftermarket sources are making aluminum arms that are all blocky/bulky/solid in areas of low bending moment, and reduced to two thin blades with holes in them where bending moments are greatest.

NOT designed by structures guy, that's for sure!
