Even without the Subaru lettering it looks cleaner out back. I'll have to decide whether or not to keep the BRZ lettering.

I did mine this morning and I think it looks awesome. A couple of recommendations from me.
1.) Be careful with your heat gun, use the lowest setting. 2.) Be careful when prying off letters as the other end from where you are prying can divit your clear coat. 3.) Get the left over adhesive warm and pick (Easier if you have some finger nails) as much off as you can before using Adhesive remover. 4.) Use the softest towel you can find, soak a little adhesive remover (Thinner) into the towel (Don't pour directly on the adhesive). Do not push too hard, wipe lightly and keep the left over adhesive warm. 5.) Be patient! That stuff doesnt come off quickly. 6.) Revel in your own awesome-ness. |

What are you guys using to "pry" off the letters. The last time I did a debadge on a new car was my MCS and I used floss.

I want to take the 'Subaru' and the badge off, and keep the BRZ, is the Badge like the Scion where there's two holes? I would assume so, but I'm hoping not.

Just debadged my white BRZ. 5 Minutes. 80 degree garage, finger nails and rub the adhesive off. Wax to polish. Super easy. Removed 'Subaru' and 'BRZ". Kept the main center Subaru emblem.
If someone wants to know what my car is my license plate is paid for and on order iterating the title 'MY BRZ'. Yeah, yeah, Vanity Plates rock! |
