Arrow FT-86 production version NOT at 2010 Geneva (yet). Photos of FT-86 concept from show.

As reported on our BLOG.

Hi all, I'm writing you guys from within the press room at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The show is not yet open to the public, but I've just walked through the entire exhibit floor here, including the Toyota display, and there is no sign yet of the FT-86 production version The Toyota press day is tomorrow, so hopefully they're saving it somewhere in the back for a surprise!

However, the original monkey-butt red FT-86 concept car is here, which actually probably makes it less likely that a production FT-86 is also here waiting to be revealed. It looks the same as when it appeared at the Tokyo Motor Show, but I'll upload some photos and video in a little while anyway. I'll tell you one thing, just standing there for a few minutes, the FT-86 got more attention from general passerbys than almost any other car that's sitting on the floor uncovered!

In any case, stay tuned to the site. If the production FT-86 pops up, I'll be sure to run back here to share pics and videos with you guys!

Normally I'd say I expect it to be rolled out for their press day... but the fact that there is the original one on the floor already concerns me. Have to wait and see though I guess.

First post updated with pics.

BTW, I looked hard for the gas cap but still have no idea. I even tried to lift/move the rear plate, but it was locked down. Assuming it's behind the plate, maybe there's a release mechanism in the car for it.

What's the little badge behind the door on the bottom... the passenger door (um, passenger door for the US, guess that would be the driver's door at the moment)?

It's just a badge that bears the name of Toyota's European Design Studio (ED2), the studio that designed this concept.

Think it was some badge for the euro design team ed2 (cant remember).

Perhaps this isnt the previous concept but a new one with a 50mm higher bonnet/hood

Oh, that does sound familiar. I think I did see it in another shot somewhere - but didn't realize where it was actually located. Thanks!

I have few questions that you might help me with

How's under the bumper looks like? Is there any sign of boxer engine header sticking out or some different header sticking out?

I always wonder what's that red thing on the bottom of the license plate? Is that a third/fourth brake lights or just the reflectors?

On the front bumper corner vents, is that just for show or is there a really a space made to cool down your brakes?

Possibly a fog light?

The car is so low in person that it was really hard to see anything under there. I tried to stick my camera underneath for some shots but before I had a chance I was asked to step away from the car. I guess I was too close. I'll try again in a bit.

I'll take a closer look and see if I can tell upon closer inspection of both these elements.
