Just wanted to clarify on this a bit. The Alcantara cover is modified in this particular area to break in a similar fashion to the OEM vinyl/rubber dash while preserving a seamless look. Basically, a special knife is used to replicate tear away zones that are not visible from the top of the material but can be seen from the bottom before the material is applied. The overall effect is that the material splits in this area easily in the pattern that is required for this particular dash.

Do you have an estimate on how much this will cost? Ballpark?

It really depends on what sort of stitching you want, material, etc.

Was it over $600 for the dash? Yes, but the material alone is something like $500. Alcantara is not cheap stuff. Also, keep in mind this is not some back yard job where you just glue some Alcantara to plastic and call it a day. They CNC a pattern out to fit PERFECTLY and they also ensure that your airbag will deploy correctly in the event of an accident.

Edit: I was mistaken about mine costing more being their first. Just want to correct that.

If only I was closer I could go to their shop and get this done as well...so jealous.

I was wondering about this. Thanks. I'd love for you to do my A pillars, but I was worried about airbag deployment. My list keeps getting bigger.

I'll be calling soon for other things.
