Exclamation Complete noob here.. Looking to add a little HP and more agressive sound to my car!

I own a 2014 Scion FR-S. I just want to make my car go a little faster (10-15 HP) and be a little louder (more aggressive rumble).

The car is used for city driving only, not for racing. So I am just a casual driver.

I have tried to go though some of the threads on here, but the language I come across goes right over my head…so please forgive me if I have to create this newbish thread out of desperation lol. As such, can someone summarily tell me exactly what components I need to achieve the above goal?

Broadly, I have come to understand that changing my air intake for a fancier one will be a good first step. And then secondly, changing the exhaust system is another. Can someone recommend brands or particular sets for the two things above that are reliable, not too expensive, and all the specifications I would need to know that go along with them?

You kinda have to break it down in dumb terms for me since I am new to all this.

Thank you so much to anyone that can be my hero!

If you just want 10-15 horse power, here's a recommendation:

Drop in filter (saves $ and it's a cheaper alternative to an intake) - $50

Axle back exhaust, Nameless sounds great - $610

OFT Tune - $500

With that, you'll get your 15 horse power. For the Nameless Axel back, I'd go with the 2.5" inlet, 5" mufflers, and the regular 4" tips. It'll sound good and won't be obnoxious.
