Been on a losing streak with my car lately...help

I took my car in for its 5K service to the dealer who treated me awesome. On the drive back a piece of steel in the road clobbered the car and took the passenger mirror out and messed up the body work. I was just quoted $1497 to fix it

Back to the dealership--they offered to replace the HPFP which I said okay to and now the car runs weird! The gas pedal seems to have about an inch more of travel now before it engages and this afternoon the car didn't want to start. After about ten seconds of cranking it finally fired.

I also noticed the MPG tracker being off. I have had steady 28.6 for the past few months on the non-real time tracker and now it has been fluctuating quite a bit.

This all sounds like issues correlated to the fuel pump being replaced. What should I do?

ecu reset so the car learns break-in period again due to new hpfp? not sure if it should be an option. someone else with more experience should chime in. just bumping this.

Yup its normal if they did an ECU reset. Dead pedal should only last for a few hundred miles max.
