OEM coolant part #'s

Hey guys,

My coolant level is below the "low" mark on the overflow tank, so I figured I'll pick up a gallon and top it off. After doing some searching around the forum, I found a few conflicting part numbers, so I just wanted to know if anyone can confirm my assumptions or correct me if I'm wrong. It seems like both of these coolant types are the same, but the toyota stuff is ~$10 more.

Here's the conclusion I came to:
Toyota p/n: 00272-GTBC1
Subaru p/n: SOA868V9270

So, are these the correct coolant part numbers for our cars?

Thank you!

I'm afraid this won't cut it in the midwest winter, which is quickly approaching. I'd like to maintain the 50/50 mixture to be on the safe side.

You're welcome but before you make your purchase please take a look at this thread

If you are truly loosing coolant there are only three possibilities. Its dripping/leaking due to a loose hose or connection (not to bad), its boiling-over and literally overflowing from the reservoir (not good, could be worse), or it is getting into the combustion chamber and being expelled in the exhaust (very bad).

Isn't the bottle already 50/50 mixed? I just topped it off.

From Toyota, the description on back specifies "FR-S Engine Only"
From Subaru, the super blue coolant.

Either one is fine.

Send a message via AIM to AZP Installs
The Superblue is already a 50/50 so don't add water to it.

Glad I found this thread, this is the one I'm about to purchase. Not trying to do what I do for my daily by going to Advance Auto for it.

PENTOFROST A3 at Autozone is the same stuff if not the supplier for the Subaru OEM coolant.
