My 86 isn't even that damaged. According to the collision center the only part that's tweaked is the passenger tow hook portion. The frame is still on point. Frame rack verified.
Hmm, if that's the case, I would just have them pull the tow hook section back into place. Repair/paint everything else, and everything should be all good. No need to get into another Monogram when you know your current Monogram from the beginning of ownership.

NP, I always go on Carmax and see what kind of special edition or hard to find cars they have whether it be EVOX MRs, E92 M3s, Series.Blue BRZs, or FRS RS2.0s.

I pleaded with them to just pull that section and lower radiator support but Farmers said it wouldn't be safe if I get into another crash. The bumper support and everything else frame related is undamaged. It makes no sense to me really.

The current Kelly blue book price alters around 16-18 thousand and considering there is roughly 3 thousand on the car in parts at the moment that 19 is a fair asking price.
OK...

So the end outcome for my Monogram is a little mixed emotionally wise. Car is totalled and insurance has payed out and all aftermarket parts have been removed. Thanks for all that took the time to comment and give concern. I don't know if i'll be getting another 86/BRZ. Although the urge is still high to have another one. This is a great forum!! I hope to return to it with another 86/BRZ if... the 2018 STi Limited doesn't suade me to the other side. The BRZ Limited is also looking very tempting with the Brembo sport package!

Sorry to see another Whiteout Monogram owner go down, but I am with you in your decision to get another vehicle. I love my monogram to death but I think it would be a time for a new platform if it were to go the way of the dodo.

This dude (below) that crashed right in front of me and claimed to swerve to miss a deer was charged with reckless since there was no evidence of a deer anyplace.
So around here you are better off to hit them then to try and avoid them when it comes to insurance. You have to make sure you state it was moving and hit you though since then it becomes comprehensive and not collision. If you say it was standing there and you hit it then it is collision and will cost you a pile more.
Presumably his estate shouldered the reckless charge?

There is no other sports car in the market that can compare with twins in the same price range. Although it is faster, 2018 STI is just a hot hatch not a sports car. Just my opinion.

Actually it is a "sport" sedan. No hot hatch made again yet.
