Has anyone fitted the full race 3" cat back exhaust to this kit. If so, does anyone have sound clips?

Also, does anyone know the weight of the different components of the exhaust system?

I can answer some of that. It fits perfectly. However the 3" exhaust is large and hangs a bit low. With my lowered car I did scrape on the rear flange because for some reason the put a flange on the lowest part. The sound, imo, is amazing. A bit of drone but not bad for the overall great sound. I'm on the Parrin 3" now for clearance but I do miss the sound. I'll see if I can dig up a sound clip.

Xforce has no drone. All you hear is all turbo.

How much was the car lowered for it to be an issue? I only intend on dropping 30mm (1.2"). The drowning is a bit of a worry as I will be removing the rear seats and installing the shrader performance delete kit, so just based on that, would probably lean towards the xforce. Also checked out the perrin and it does sound nice but only saved less than 2lb compared to the stock unit. Contacted Xforce for their weight; hopefully some good news.

Was looking at the Greddy Revolution RS 3" and that saves nearly 18lb. Happy to see that and it sounds pretty wicked. Only issue is it doesn't fit the Velox rear diffuser!!!

Are there any other 3" options out there?

My vehicle is not very low maybe 1.2-1.5. The issue is they put the flange to the rear mufflers at the lowest point. It wasn't a good decision for ground clearance. The Perrin with resontator (only way you can get it now) is VERY quiet. It's almost too quiet for me. If you're looking for absolutely no drone though I highly recommend that. If you're running FR weight really shouldn't be an issue for you. Seriously, you'll have heeps of traction issues as it is and a little more weight in the rear is actually a good thing. I went with the Perrin because it has the best clearance out of all the options in 3". They specifically designed it for the best clearance possible. In addition, the Perrin fits the rear diffuser perfectly. You can use the smallest spacers and still have room to spare.

Do you have any sound clips with the Perrin? Do you have a build thread I can look at so I don't clog this thread?

I do not have a build thread or sound clips yet. I hope to have both soon but the car is in the shop at the moment. You can get some extra info on my wheel well, although it's not 100 percent complete yet.

There are a few guys out there that have ran a very similar oil cooler setup (home-made before Full-Race finished their kit) tracking for 20 minutes straight without going terribly high on oil temps. It's a solid kit with a quality core.

We have a 7163 TS turbo kit on the shelf which is rare, so if anyone is interested in a kit without the typical one month wait, it's a great time!

Oil cooler kits are on the shelf as well, contact us if you're interested in running it!

Thanks,
Eric

All images have been restored I believe.

I was told they have manifolds on the shelf which should reduce lead time as well. Get with us if you have any questions or would like to be boosted

Thanks,
Eric

Full-Race Motorsports Turbo Kit Owners Thread and FAQ

I'm in the market for a crash beam and a oil cooler. The full race set up seems like a good option. I have an SBD kit. Any reason why this oil cooler and crash bar wouldn't work with other kits? Some pictures of it mounted would be cool.

There is no reason it should not work with other kits, pending charge air cooler mounting. Here are some photos from one of my customers that he shared with us.

Thanks,
Eric

Updated, sorry about that. Still learning the new way of linking photos without photobucket . Hope those work now.

Thanks,
Eric
