I have the Legamax Sport and I can vouch that it does sound like that. Mine is a tad bit louder since I have headers and a front pipe, but yeah it sounds great in person. At idle and low rpms, it's very quiet, but pleasing to the ears in the upper range.

Paid a nice chunk of change for the HKS Legamax Quad-tip exhaust yesterday. Will be getting it installed this coming Saturday. Freaking excited.

Aaaand it is on

Definitely quieter than my previous Injen 3" exhaust. No drone at all. Doesnt sound as deep and mean as my last exhaust, but still sounds great, especially once you go over 4-5k RPM. Plus, it looks great.

Some quick snaps with my phone:

Forgot to take a sound clip, may try to get one tomorrow.

Wow that looks good! It makes me wish I had gotten the quad tip version

HKS Exhaust Choices - Which one do I go with?

Even WITH my Tomei Uncatted UEL and overpipe.....

The Legamax Sport Quad Tip exhaust is exactly what I wanted. Sound is amazing and damn near stock sounding until it's WOT.

Went from the Works exhale ab-m to this HKS full exhaust.

Pics to come shortly. Just got it yesterday and I've been smiling ever since. Even the cold start is much more bearable. Excellent exhaust. Money well spent.

Even got a small bump in power response too. Totally noticeable in comparison to my axleback I had on.

I absolutely love my HKS legamax sport catback. I'd like to hear your exhaust with the UEL header.

Question, does your legamax quad tips sit more towards the right than center?

Not sure if its my imagination but I had this issue with my last exhaust and I kinda think my quad tips are a bit off centered.

Is the difference in volume between Legamax Sport Dual vs Quad done only by the tips? Or the exhaust has different construction?

I have the legamax premium and it sits higher on the left than the right

Based on the pics, looks like the only difference is the tips. Muffler design looks the same, so sound should be as well I assume.

One would say so, but from the first page from the HKS themselves:

Legamax Sports Cat-Back Dual Tip - 86 db
Legamax Sports Cat-Back Single Tip - 88 db

Legamax Sports Cat-Back Single Tip - 50 lbs
Legamax Sports Cat-Back Dual Tip - 58 lbs

So it seems the difference is bigger. Also, if you check their official videos, the sound too. The single tip has a bit of overrun raspiness, while the Dual Dip is more tamed stockish sound.

The reason i am asking this is, that I perhaps want to cut the tips and weld my own to fit TRD quad tip garnish. So I need to decide on what type I need.

If I can remember to, I'll measure distance of the tips from the far left and far right of the bumper diffuser area. That should help figure out if the TRD garnish will fit.
