gta detailers specializing in opticoat/ceramicpro/unobtanium?

i had my car opticoated back in 2013 and liked the results

currently looking to detail another car but don't know who to go to since my old detailer isn't in the business anymore

there's a few other competitor products that have been out since, i'm game for whatever

who's good in the gta?

GTA in Detail did my car twice (the second time covered by insurance).

I see that on their site, Opticoat has literally gone up in price by 2x.

I got mine done by Bryan at http://concourstouch.com/, but based on the website, i'm not sure if he's still doing this anymore.

I used GTA In Detail (http://getdetailed.ca/ceramic-pro) and their Ceramic Pro coating.

Best investment ever. Car washes easy and most battlescars tend to buff out easier.

Got my Opticoat Pro done by OCG Detailing. Very fair pricing.

For those that have the Opticoat Pro, how does that handle bird crap? Right now, any sort of crap that sits on the car for a prolonged period of time, it etches the clear coat which can't be repaired.

Gotta hate water-based paints....

Went on a little road trip this past weekend and my car was destroyed by dead bugs and a bit of bird dookie when I parked under a tree for 2 nights.

With a standard 2000psi power washer, 90% just flew right off despite having had the stuff sit on there for days. Had I washed it asap, I'm sure I wouldn't have even needed to bring out my wash mitt for a light scrub. Nothing damaged to my paint as far as I can tell.

Same. I don't know if I have Opticoat Pro or 2 or whatever it was when I got it one in 2012, but bird poops usually just comes right off with a pressure washer. Generally, I let rain wash my car and it looks like new!

I wish I had got my Forester done when we got it last year, but pricing shot through the roof between 2012 and 2015!

Had my car's opticoat pro done at Orion detailing. Picked Wes over the other places because of all the great reviews online....plus I keep seeing people getting their porsches etc done so if they're willing to trust him and put their expensive cars there then that's fine and good enough for me lol.

Haven't had a lot of bird crap on the car so I can't say much for that.
