They have the other guy and he has insurance so your deductible will never come into play. Your insurance will take care of everything with the other guys company now. Hopefully he gets a severe penalty for leaving the scene of an accident, he would here in NY.

I just had a coworker slam into me. I still had to pay my deductible and wait for the other insurance to take responsibility. And return my deductible.
