If they're listing it they can make a profit. Also, taking $ off the top may mean less value given in the case of a trade. On my car they only moved "500" off sticker price, but the car had display audio for $0 (was in car not on sticker) and gave me realistically as much or more in trade as i would have netted in a private sale after catching up on repairs/maintenance. |

There are dealer incentives, volume discounts, etc. You will never really know what the dealer pays exactly, but my guess is that this is a high volume dealer and they are trying to clear the 13's out for the 14's and this car has probably been sitting on the lot awhile.
I love the color too, this is a great deal. I would confirm the mileage and also make sure the car was not flood or hail damaged. A dealer here was advertising a new BRZ Limited in WRB with homelink and other accessories for $25K. When I called and spoke to them they told me it had "some minor hail damage" but they never mentioned that on link to the car... |

its not as simple as losing money. its about options. and now the options are (or at least hypothetically might be) lose a little money now, or dont sell the car and lose ten times more money by not selling the car at all

I wonder what their profit is... They make money selling at this low of a price.
