My initial thoughts are that the Vortech system is the culmination of work from some very excited Engineers who love this platform and these cars, who also happen to have over 60 years combined experience in the turbomachinery design process, and have been making the very best supercharging systems money can buy for over 22 years. We have the most efficient and reliable compressors available today, and our fit and finish is second to none. We are confident our customers will be more than happy with the results.

I'm going with whichever options is California friendly (carb legal).
I already love the car, so any kind of reliable power is welcomed. So the carb status will determine what I get.

Stupid trade shows holding up progress. All the vendors are mum till SEMA.

So Brian@Vortech speaking of timeliness do you guys have a date set for availability? Assuming that this kit performs the way I am hoping when could I buy it? I noticed another vendor taking pre-orders....

Unfortunately that would be 7 years/100,000 miles for me I may have to settle with a TRD S/C or no FI at all.

True but since this is the first model year I'm nervous about not having an extended warranty, if it were the 2nd or 3rd model year then I doubt I would have even thought about an extended warranty (hope that makes sense).
Plus if TRD comes out with a roots style or twin screw I'll go with that option so I dont void my warranty.

yay...got an email, details and some tentative dates from Vortech as a r&d lab rat.

Sorry cant share pricing. But its good. Damn good.

All I can say is that the final pricing is lower than other current major FI options out there, and I am glad I am signed on.

Well worth the wait...

Like the bit about pricing

Hate the bit about tentative dates....I want instant gratification. But I would rather have it fully R&D'ed. Keep us informed with what you can bro.
