The performance pack also adds 20lbs to the Limited, seems like a lot for a BBK and 0.5" on each wheel.

Funny IIRC there is a Brembo Brakes ad in Grassroot Motorsports magazine and the rating chart only lists the OEM Brembos barely for light duty track work, more dedicated for street use. Then again they are trying to sell people heavier duty brakes.
It's basically the standard grade Brembos that come with an older Porsche isn't it (4 pot/2 pot fixed caliper)? The WRX STI world seems to think their Brembos need better pads and rotors to stop probably in very wet / cold conditions. Last edited by krayzie; 06-02-2016 at 04:28 PM. |

Since I have WRX STI brembos on my BRZ I have to admit that more aggressive pads and lightweight 2 piece rotors would make more of a difference. The setup also noticeably shifts brake bias forward. Serious track guys seem to run the stock calipers on the rear to keep the bias down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Final drive is the ratio in the differential. It affects all gears.

The final gear ratio affect all 6 speed. It's the gear in the diferential, so it will affect all the gears by the same percentage.
