With just the Nameless Front Pipe/Overpipe, I have a leak at the top of the flange, but did not see any interference causing it. From what I've been able to see, there appears to be a misalignment not allowing me to get the flanges perfectly flush.

I've already made three attempts to resolve the leak back in November, but have not yet contacted Nameless about it as I would like to wait until the weather changes into not-shit around here and I can blow all the salt residue off my garage floor so I don't have to roll around in it and breathe in all that nasty dust when working on the car. Then I can get under there again and take another look at it.

I didn't even notice the problem until I had the JDL header on the car, and then the horrible stench made it very obvious. I blamed the header for the leak at first, but when I swapped back to stock, I could see (and smell) that the problem was still there. Just not having the first cat on there made it way more obvious.

I will take it up with Nameless, as I really like the gains and lack of additional noise I get with this part, and if I can eliminate the leak, all the better.

Anyone figure out how to resolve this issue completely? I am having the issue myself... It'
s still persisting after denting the overpipe to give more clearance to the engine block.

I just installed the nameless 3" frontpipe/overpipe and have similar issues. I did get away without a leak that I can detect (no smell or obvious exhaust noise up front) but I'm getting rattles occasionally, especially from a stop.

yep my header is coated... I also had massive exhaust leak (using new gaskets) with both nameless parts. I switched back to the OEM OP/FP and the intense rattling stopped... Exhaust leak is still there but not as bad. I will trouble shoot the leak a bit later this week.

I had this same issue, the overpipe rattled against the sub frame.

I feel I have a leak somewhere though. The car makes a metallic/tinny screech from about 3500-6000 under moderate load. You'd think a $500 pipe would fit better. It could be partially the header I suppose but sounds like the nameless header causes the same issue.
This is exactly what I did too.. I used a marker to identify the exact spot to 'dent' in. Not very impressive.

Did it fix it? I have the rattle and i bet it's coming from the op/dp... Don't know what to do...

Yes it worked perfectly. I would be very careful and use a mallet instead of a hammer and make very small adjustments. I am still curious to know if it has a noticeable negative impact on airflow.

Probably adds a little turbulence, but maybe it will act like a gulf ball's dimples.

Dealership was nice enough to let me look at this while it was up on lifts. There's no way to "wiggle" it to get more clearance. It's mounted correctly everywhere, it's just not shaped right to have enough clearance.

Denting it is really the "best" solution, but I think I'm going to try and wrap it around where it brushes the subframe. Then at least it won't be metal on metal when it hits, might be a more quiet rattle.

IMHO You'll need to dent it. It's interesting to see others are experiencing this issue as well.. I thought it was just me since I was using a FBM turbo header and down pipe.

I'm thoroughly impressed with Nameless's quality, but this needs to be rectified.
