Specs of the STOCK battery??

Hello..

I'm just doing some research on what the specs of the stock standard battery are:

Namely CA, CCA, RC. Length, Width, Height and Weight measurements would be extra good too!! haha
A closeup picture of the battery location(pref. without the battery in its compartment) would be fantastic

Looking at purchasing a Braille so I wanna find out a similar spec to factory

Thanks

All I can tell you is that it's a Panasonic battery which are usually good in Toyota vehicles. I've got a few pictures surrounding the battery area though (seems to be a lot of open space around it):

In this picture that Speedrye took, you can see the majority of a part number "...5D23L"

Panasonic does make a 55D23L, which carries dimensions of 232 x 173 x 204 mm. That's probably what you are looking for. I think that's Group 34 or 35 equivalence.

Subaru likes using group 35.

Mine will be quickly replaced with a Lawn and Garden Battery unless the compression is too high for 275CCA to crank. But I doubt it.

Please Ref. NASIOC's Battery FAQ. A lot of great information.

I will double check with toyota and Subaru. I'm sure it's a group 35

Draco-REX's idea will work just fine and only cost about 30 bucks. I ran one for two years, but when a battery that small is combined with a stereo it then becomes inadequate. As far as cold starts go, I live in Nova Scotia, not the coldest part of the world but at least as cold as anywhere in the lower 48.

Otherwise, check Odyssey's line of batteries. Batterymart.com was my prefered site to purchase from but it's been a while so shop around.

I have one of those exact batteries sitting in my garage! I was going to use it as an extra battery in my old car (for amps) but I'm not using it for that right now.
