That tube is what was used with many early kits.

I am tired of cleaning my MAF to fix P0172 CELs. I know I can reclean and reapply less oil to air filter to but I ordered AEM 21-2036DK DryFlow Air Filter. I am pretty sure it is just fine but still wanted to post and ask if anybody has done this replacement before me. Please let me know.

installed a crankcase oil catch can and replace the oiled filter with AEM dryflow. Hopefully no more MAF sensor cleaning.

Can anyone chime in on the feasibility of a HBP C38 setup w/ 93 on a stock block?

Looking to milk a little more out of my set-up; currently run the C38 with an HKS EL catless head and full catless exhaust, Delicious eTune, and DW injectors and Fuel Pump. That said I am completely uninterested in anything that starts dipping into the danger zone as far as block stability/likelihood of throwing a rod.

Is anyone currently running something similar to this or is knowledgeable as to what sort of longevity a setup like that may have?

Thanks!

I wouldn't do it without rebuilding the engine. It could be fine if you don't track but you should know that you are pushing it a little too close to catastrophe.

That was my assumption, was just curious of other people's experiences and or knowledge.

Power wise you will remain in the safe range if you are only using 93 octane. The most important thing is having a reliable tune.

If you use E85, thats where it starts to get a little sketchy.

And you can always lower the redline a tad to increase the safety margin.
