Does anyone else have cooling issues? I know I need a turbo blanket, new driver side fan and heat wrap. It seems like I have to drive with the defrost on full blast with heat on to keep it below 200F. Recently it peaked above 248. I've had a blown head gasket before and that's not what's happening because the oil doesn't peak with the coolant temps. Also thinking about putting in a racing thermostat as well. Just in case anyone asks, I do have a koyorad radiator.

I have the one that JDL offers, it works and the clearance is really good with the turbo kit.

So who's got a kit with the No Trim or Cutting FMIC option that's new for 2016?

I REALLY like the idea of a UEL GTX2867R kit with that option.

I'd like to see more pics if anyone has some. @JDLAutoDesign?

I just got this exact kit Tuesday, actually. UEL GTX2867R with the FMIC requiring no trimming.

I can't install it just yet since I don't have everything I need for the full system (EBCS, gauges, etc.), but I'll update you guys once I do.

Did you want any pictures of my pieces?

Nice, congrats! Any pictures before and after the install would be great! I'm curious to see what the drivers side rear of the intercooler looks like.

Do you have a build thread? If not, you should consider starting one so I can subscribe and follow it. Good luck!

I'll go grab a pic of the IC for ya.

I do have a build thread, but I didn't start it until after I had done many small things to it (lighting, tails, knob, etc.) so I'm more ashamed than anything by having it until I get ACTUAL stuff done to the car.

More recently though I did swap the clutch so it might be time for an update before the big turbo upgrade.

One of local FRS/BRZ customer's most recent Dyno. He has our GTX UEL Turbo System paired with Delicious Tuning's Flex Fuel Kit and F&G Tune. This is on stock fueling as well
