Shiro Kitsune

So I finally decide to start up a build thread so that I can keep track of the cars progress. Please excuse my bad grammar English is my 2nd language if that bothers you I’m sorry but you’ve been warned. I’m also not an auto mechanic just an auto enthusiast so if you guys see me doing something wrong please don’t hesitate too say something. Anyways here’s some pics of my previous cars.

My first Manual car a 1997 Mazda Miata. Learned a lot from working on this car also the first car I ever did autox with.

After 5years of owning the Miata I decided it was time for a change.

So I picked up a 2013 Scion FR-S. Also owned a Celica St for a short period of time. My plan was to restore the car and use as a daily but I ended up selling the car to my cousin to buy car parts.

Was really happy with the Frs until I was involved in an auto accident.

After the accident the car was put back together but it just didn’t feel the same. Had a horrible experience with the body shop so in the end I decided it be best to jump into a new car.

My first mod was a set of the Tein street basis coilovers

Did a full season of scca and one time attack event at Asr with these on stock tires. Car still feels stock maybe just a tad stiffer.

Managed to place 8th pace in the rookie class

Swapped the stock wheels for a set of Gramlights 57cr 17x9 +38 and replaced the Prius tires for some sticky Firestone fire hawks 235/45s

A few gifts from the wife. Beatrush shift knob and a radium master cylinder brace. The shift knob is lighter for sure but feels amazing and the brace seems to make a difference but we’ll find out on March 10th (first scca event)

Surprisingly it’s not that loud a bit of drone when driving at 60 mph. Well see how loud it gets when I get the front pipe and over pipe.

Edit: I see that you had a single exit on your previous twin as well, so you're probably used to the volume levels.

True. The frs had a full exhaust header back minus the cats so that may be why I think this ones quieter.

Well it certainly looks awesome. Love the single exit look. Nice job on your build so far, I like your wheels as well.
