No sorry not for this variation. We will have one closer that price point though around $4600.00 for those that dont need the GTX Billet turbo. The price will include the tune FYI so you will basically be purchasing the kit, ECUTEK license and our custom tune.

Good to know we are only here to provide choices as soon as you have other tuning options you wont have to buy Johns tunes for $1200.00 either. There will be a soon coming Hot Parts version of our kit coming in a couple weeks for those who really want to put together there own setup...stay tuned......

Our 3" Exhaust is also ready and will be tested next week along with our 2.5". We are almost done on our stepped header design. We just have to do some flow analysis on it then fab up the prototype. We have more items lined up but not enough hours in the day right now.

"We have seen gains of 30HP and quicker spool up to 300-400 rpm sooner on back to back testing of the GT2871R vs. GTX2863."

Does this mean you expect a 30hp gain from the turbo kit you are making? Or that the GTX has been shown to make 30hp over a GT with all other things being equal?

I assume we can get a price break if we already have ecutek and license?

Anyone who already had a license can deduct 250.00 from the kit total. And yes you can expect 20-30hp gains in comparison to the non gt2871 turbos

here's my questions...why place the turbo where you chose? look at how long your intercooler piping is. also, look at the intake placement, it's getting 0 fresh air sitting at the back of the motor. i'm not criticizing.

Honestly it is based on two things simplicity and overall cost. We are working on a more extreme version that addresses all your concerns but naturally the cost will be higher installation more in depth but man will it pack a punch.

First and foremost I LOVE the use of 3" piping from a kit finally. I also want to ask what exactly this more " extreme " version entails? Turbo size? New placement? Bigger intercooler etc.

Can you tell us a bit about the intake position? Seems like it won't get much airflow but I know you have done your homework... so please explain.

personally I don't like this turbo placement whether it's Don's or this kit
location of the air filter it probably the worst too.

I still think AVO still has the best turbo placement and they even managed to keep the metal shield.

I have to say that $4,600 with tune is not bad at all.
I love the options because it makes the competition rethink their prices
cuz I'm DEFINETELY NOT paying $5k for just the kit.

So Far I'm ALL about AVO's kit.

+1. Also waiting on Crawfords. They are doing a full engine build + turbo kit. Waiting eagerly for results on both.

I'm concerned with how close the hot side of the turbo is to the transmission oil pan. Other, similar set ups generally have the turbo near the bell housing and the heat isn't such an issue. You kit appears to place it directly beside the oilpan. How has your team addressed this?

Also, Welcome to the party! The more venders there are, the better it is for consumers. Not only does the price become more competitive, but so does the quality, customer service, and ingenuity of the developers.
