No really though, that T56 is a tight fit!

It will be fully shielded for heat and the transmission is a Tremec Magnum XL specially ordered for this project , the T56 would of required a lot of sheet metal work and still would of required a remote shifter, the XL is a direct shifter (for a much better feel) and fits the OEM shifter placement almost perfect.

OP what motor are you gonna end up with? Also, are they going to be reproducing the swap parts and if so what would the price on something like this be?

For my goals right now a stock fully rebuilt LS1 is going in, I'm looking for long term reliability in strictly NA form, I'm sure some will want to up the anti with a LS3......and yes this whole project is for Vorshlag to use my car for development of a LSX swap kit for the twins.......price wise I'm not sure as I'm the test bunny customer.

Damn, that's impressive! Please keep the updates rolling as you can. I'd love to know how that was accomplished.

Price I heard was gonna be close to 20k. Maybe more.

Loved my LS1 in my '02 Camaro SS. Beast of an engine and a torque monster. That wasn't even a built engine... that's the scary part.

Is Vorshlag going to offer a plug-n-play wiring/engine/ecu/can-bus harness with their kit?? ...or is the swap kit customer going to be expected to do all the wiring harness modifications? If the latter, will instructions be provided to the swap-kit customer?

Take a look through the pictures linked. The engine mounts aren't solid, though their not terribly far off. The transmission mount is essentially solid. One side has poly, but the other side is metal to metal.

From what I have been told it will be plug and play and be part of the swap kit,.......this Kit is, and will be, designed for owners to accomplish in their own garage at their own pace, the complete conversion. They have gone to great lengths with countless trial and error with many different parts they have on hand and also ones they have had to order for trial to make this a kit for the masses and not just a one off build that requires copious compromises and major hacking of sheet metal. It will truly be a bolt on solution for what most of us crave and this car needs,.. more power and torque in a natural state. I went the FI route with this car (turbo), and after a ton of money with a forged short block Ferrea race valve set pushing 18lbs. of boost felt like it was a ticking time bomb even though I only put 100 miles on that engine with no issues, but there is so much that could go wrong in an instant that I didn't want to have to keep my eyes glued to the boost and AFR gauge constantly or else POP!..(As a note I did have a problem on my first build, and because so had it built stronger the second time)...btw that engine is for sale and someone is going to get a swinging deal on it. I gotta have 20k wrapped up in that thing over the cost of the engine itself.

I hope they can get the price down below Weapons Grade Performances complete swap kit ($9k + engine and trans). The two companies seem to have taken considerably different routes for mounting options. Love seeing more LSx swap options. WGP has also tapped the OEM ECU to get all the normal functions of the twins. I just started stripping mine down today for an LSx swap too.

They have? Do you have any video of it?
