Hi All,

We have been busy working on our FlexFuel Kit and it will be ready for SEMA. As an FYI we are also working on making sure our Flash and Go tunes (Pure MAP sensor, not hybrid) works on the Sprintex Kits also. So far everything has been running well on our in house vehicles on our Delicious Tuning 11 PSI map sensor with no other changes needed to your vehicle. So now you can see your real boost levels in your logs and through the Torque Pro application.

The benefit of this?
This opens up the MAF voltage input value so we can use it for our FlexFuel Kit and Flash & Go Tune while still retaining all the readiness checks on the vehicle for smog. Or we can use the input for many other features that are coming down the road.

Cheers,
William Knose

My Ground Control clears it. But, you would need to also buy their camber plates and a spacer. If you plan on tracking, camber plates are a good investment.

SC install tips and advice

I just wanted put a link to a post I started asking for help with installing a Innovate/Sprintex SC onto my car. If you guys have any special tips or advice, I'd love to hear it before diving into the installation next weekend. Thanks

The Megan brace only clears by a wee bit, as in about a quarter inch. I had it on my car and I am pretty sure the top of the SC hit due to engine rock when under throttle.

The Whiteline and Cusco bars are the same thing I believe. So choose the one you like. It clears so well, it looks like it was designed with the Sprintex blower in mind.

Yep looks like it except you can get the Cusco one with the MCB which is pretty cool.

Sprintex USA is now distributing the kits. The pricing has been adjusted (up) a bit for IC systems. Current SC kits are 3195 non intercooled, 4695 with the laminova IC. IC upgrade kits are 1700 MSRP. This is much more realistic given the cost of the laminova core and heat exchanger. Old IC upgrade kits could never keep in stock and this I think reflects the true cost of things compared to before.

335 kits: SOON! Don't say we didn't warn you, it makes tons of power and 14 psi is about the minimum you will see. That 14 psi will be at the low end of the blower's output, so it will be a cool, dense charge. Sprintex recommends built motors only, but we will test out one of these kits on our car until she pops. I think with e85 we can probably still use the big pulley on this blower and limit power via tune until we're ready for the forged stuff.

210+...don't hold your breath. Official word will come from Sprintex when it is released, but if you're holding off purchase for one, you're going to be disappointed. When it is ready it will offer a measurable gain over the standard 210, but it won't be ground breaking.

Otherwise it will actually be quite nice to have Sprintex keep an office here in the US. This means that spare parts, replacement blowers, and whatever else might be needed will be a much quicker repair if needed.
Is there still an option for a IC and non-IC CARB kit? If so what is pricing like?

An (under)driven SC like the 335 will be delivering 14 psi at lower revs, and it will be nowhere near it's peak output. So the only heat gain there will be mostly just from compression. So 14 psi with 30-40 deg lower IAT will have quite a bit more power. Then figure the SC will have about 10% drag loss, 400 twin screw HP is more like 440 turbo HP, maybe more. You get the idea. I think the question is whether the motor will sustain 14 psi at lower revs even with retarded timing or e85. Just might be too much boost for the OEM rods. But maybe not...if it can be done we will do it. Hopefully without a frisbee sized pulley though.
I asked about this. If you want to reign in the blower to levels safe for stock internals, the pulley is so big that it doesn't safely clear the hood.

LOL I am trying to picture that... The one pulley I saw was already fairly large. Mike have you had one on the dyno yet? I'm curious because the other dyno charts I've seen show a ton of low end torque but then it falls off a lot up top, like peak HP at 6K RPM...

The TVS unit inside the TRD S/C is similar in displacement but a completely different design (roots vs. twin-screw) and doesn't seem to fall off much up top. It has a pretty big pulley for low boost (~8psi) but not quite dinner plate sized.

anybody else encountered any vacuum leaks? I apparently have one and for the life of me can't pin it down. I've clamped every damn hose that is vacuum related, or at least connects off the back of the supercharger. Getting pretty frustrated having my car stall 3-4 times before it starts up.
