I love the theory that the new design is to make it more Toyota appearing instead of Scion like. Why is it that people just can not seem to understand that this car exists in the rest of the world as a Toyota and always has?

Close but still no cigar really there are many of the finer points such as angles and contours that were way off. Pretty good for a guess off the camo though.

Scion is just the identical twin that never fully developed in the womb and ended up dying off a couple years later because it couldn't survive.

Yeah some people make it sound like the scion badged car was made in Mexico and designed in America.

Why would it ? It would be priced higher as well. It would also make sense if Subaru had a high end version on the same platform . Similar to the Miata/fiat scenario.

They made exactly the one I wanted! Yes, even badged as a Scion.
Now they don't and I am fine with that since it is something that somebody else will want.
When time to get something new I will decide if they are making what I want at that point. If not I will get something else that half the people here would not want but I do.
There is no such thing as "everybody wants" when you are talking about anything.

Hmm... definitely more BRZ like. Interesting that they released the photo in WR blue (almost

). Interior shot shows the silver dash trim like the BRZ as well. I wonder if the new spring rates will follow suit?

Resistance to change. A perfectly normal human reaction. Especially when that change looks like it has melted and started to sag.
Personally I could probably like it if it wasn't for that damned droopy bulge smack in the center.
