So you stole your grandma's curtains for your shift boot?

I kid, I kid. I like your ingenuity. Not sure why you would want a cupholder there but it's your deal

Looool thanks man. And yeah, somewhat regretting the choice of fabric cover for the stripped center console.

The plan is to mount a cup holder in front of the fire extinguisher (where the traction control is in this pic) and relocate the traction control and the usb outlet, along with whatever else, to that carbon fiber plate. This is an old pic of the rest of the console:

If you went so far as to delete the console, why cover it?

The OEM mats do not cover the carpet under the gas pedal and it was beginning to wear. I thought about getting the OEM FR-S all weather mats but they are shaped the same. If interested in those the cheapest I found them was here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Scion-FR-S-...wAAMXQiNdReWR6

I have 3D MAXpider mats in my 2014 Escape and they have worn well. Ordered them for my FR-S from here, no tax, free shipping: https://www.ebay.com/itm/All-Weather...7CMake%3AScion

Perfect fit. Much better coverage than the OEM mats. The mats are black. The lighting makes them look slightly gray.

So what is your goal? To strip out everything that's non-structural or optional to reduce the weight of your car? For racing?
Ditch the old couch fabric and whatever you have wrapped around the parking brake handle.

so I know I know it's expensive, but he did a lot of work

Readjustment on the rear lower control arms
He balanced the car alignment with my weight in the driver seat, then reset the sway bar endlinks and shock towers to take out preload. then put it on the alignment rack, and did a full nut and bolt check on everything I had done over the last month. Taking extra time to see what max equal camber was in the front ( stock top hats) with whiteline camber bolts. He also checked rear caster (its not fully adjustable but it can be checked for close-ness)

So it took him a while and disassembly of the rear control arm to allow us to push alignment back out.

If I wanted a two wheel alignment it mighta been 120 but this guy works on everything from Prepared SCCA/NASA cars to full on pro-touring and GTE set ups for privateers. Not only this but he put on 25 ish miles to test the shock setting for balance and deemed where it was fine, if but a little stiff. but fore to aft balance was good.

I am running swift springs which are over sprung rear so I had him toe in the rear to compensate and then asked if the rear sway bar should go tighter to compensate but now it really sticks into the corner hard core with very very slight understeer which I am fine with. ( i have less than 1600 miles on this particular car and set up)

So yes. I figure it was cheap. I was expecting to pay 600+ for his time, it took him nearly all day.
