Yo honestly, can someone just re-edit the first page so that we can get the standard settings needed for my stock scion frs to run with this app called Torque?
if anyone would be so kind to message or something, much appreciated.
not trying to read the last 50 pages to figure this out

Installed torque and a scan tool LX OBD reader. Everything works fine, including oil temp. My question is, is there a consensus that oil pressure is not available via the ECU on this car?

i have the OBDLink LX Bluetooth and i specifically bought this one because i heard it switches off. I see the light on ALL the time.. I`m a bit worried it will drain my Shorai battery.. is this normal or if it is fully off it doesnt light up?

I didn't trust the auto off feature of that so I have mine hooked up to the obd port via an obd cable that has a manual on/off switch and I turn it off when not in use.

Do you have a link to the cable you use? That's a great idea.

I too saw that mine always stayed on. I found it goes to sleep if I turn the bluetooth on my phone off. Which is annoying, because I don't want it to drain the battery if I forget to turn the bluetooth off.

My OBDLink LX also seems to stay on (at least in standby, I guess?) all the time, but I haven't had any problems with it draining my battery - even when the car has sat for a week and a half. If I were going to be away from my car for much longer than that I'd probably disconnect the battery anyway.

I wouldn't be overly concerned about the small amount of drain by the idling OBD adapter.

I have this one. Just search for Obd switch and it'll pop up. Tonsiki OBD 2 Cord 16 pin M/F Male to Female Right Angle Diagnostic Extension Cable with Power Switch

My Obdlink is attached to this and I only turn it on when I want to run Torque app. They also have splitter Obd cords so you can attach multiple devices. I use a splitter one on top of this so I don't wear out my obd port when I wanna attach something else, like an OFT.

I assume that's just location differences.
Same issue here.
