Also, I think I spotted @Slick going down Walkley yesterday afternoon, on my way back to Montreal

If not, then it was another red frs. People need to start waving at each other in this city!

OFT anyone?

Hi,

I bought an OFT a few months ago but I am not going to be using it so I thought I'd gauge interest.

When I was looking for one they were hard to find locally without going brand new so I ended up with a new one through Slick for $757 after tax.

If you know of someone local that is interested send me a pm. It really is an amazing tool but if the price is right then I can't justify having it collect dust...

Cheers,

James

ETA: SOLD! Cheers!

Anyone knows how it works crossing the US/CAN border with purchased goods that are used, i.e. no receipt ? I'm going to pick up wheels in NY from a dude but don't really know what I should declare, if I should make a homemade receipt and have him sign agreeing on a said price or something like that.. Trying to expect what I'll have to pay !

I've been in some pretty hostile situations with CBSA over property that I brought into the US and was returning with. You're a young guy with a flashy car, and you're importing wheels. They're going to be on your case like shit to a blanket. Bring a signed receipt, email trail, etc, and whatever you do, don't say anything that will make them think that you're running a business.

Ya just have a made up receipt and have him sign if the price is quite unbelievable they might want to verify your price by checking your phone/ email for conversation. The reality is that if your not trying to lie to them you won't have an issue.

Naw, not trying to lower the price, its a sweet deal, so will tell them what I really paid for it, so I guess I'll pay 13% taxes on that !

Possibly an extra 6% tax if it was manufactured outside of north America. Also they sometimes also don't charge the extra 6 so you could get lucky. When I went to pick up my strut bar I didn't pay any taxes as it was busy and he told me to just go ahead!
