Hmm, maybe we should. I know I'm going there for their diving instruction classes.

Have you heard anything about how much memberships will cost? Or anything about their schedule for the year?

I am really hoping they are going to be an accessible track.

I have no clue about the memberships, but iirc there should be a rough schedule posted on their site or somewhere. That's how I found out about joining an HPDE class. My guess is they'll have track days for sure, but may be very busy for its first year.

Date and/or link? (I didn't see any sort of rough schedule)

I'll see if I can get a hold of it and update their schedule.

Great elevation changes and flow. Seems like a perfect club track.

Some of those rock faces are really close to the track in corners, hopefully they blast more of them out. With Thompson, NH, Lime Rock, NYST and now Palmer being so close hopefully it brings down the cost of track time.

I went yesterday and ran with Northeast Track Days. The elevation changes and late apexes made really challenging. The front straight wasn't even that straight, it seemed like you were doing some turning 100% of the time. The facilities are basically nonexistent since the only thing really finished was the track. There is still no infield grass so the track got pretty dusty as the day went on. I can't wait to go again.

How fast was the track? In particular, what speeds were you hitting on the downhill straight before you had to jump onto the brakes? The few ride-around videos I've seen make it look like it'd be a pretty fast track, and taxing on brakes...was curious to hear your input, and what mods you've done that make your car more trackworthy?

I hit 105 mph before I backed off and started braking for turn 1. The track was still a little slick and the construction made it really dusty. I wasn't pushing it too hard. The nice part about the track is there is a lot of camber in the turns and a few of the turns are uphill to help you naturally slow down; I didn't think it was overly brake intensive but I'm pretty easy on the brakes anyways.

I had my OEM rotors resurfaced prior and I'm running front and rear Project mu HC+800 pads with Motul RBF600. I have Feal 441 coilovers, a master brake cylinder brace, steering rack bushings, catback and drop in filter (stock power). I ran with RPF1s and Michelin PSS in 225/45/17s.

I had my '13 Mustang GT out there on that Friday, the track is awesome. Best imo in NE, by far. Can't wait for the landscaping and curbing to be in place.

Coming from a heavy Mustang, where it needs brake ducts to keep the rotors cool, i can tell you the track is very easy on brakes compared to NHMS. The front straight is a little tricky with that little kink in it just before the braking zone. Turn 1 is a hoot, as well as many of the others.

Can't wait to try Palmer out in my soon-to-be BRZ!

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet: http://oppositelock.kinja.com/brz-vs-brz-1718656322

I drove the track today (at parade lap speeds). It's incredible... the elevation changes make it especially interesting.

Awesome for casual track days, HPDE, even TT. Perfect fit for our cars since there's practically no straights! And it's built into a small mountain/large hill. See cars on track for scale:

Racers don't like it too much though
