I can't wait to see what sort of power you can make with the tq250 and tq300 and some e85 in the tank. What battery setup (2 or 4 batteries) are you using and how much boost/torque are you shooting for?

Currently have both the TQ250 and TQ300 to be used for testing. Right now I have the 2 battery + starter battery setup. The whole kit (blower/batteries/wiring) took around 45 min to install with no more than 4 tools

Going to give the batteries some break-in this week and hopefully hit the dyno this weekend to see what both blowers do. Seat of the pants feel is very favorable. Make the car significantly faster. But what really amazes me is the easy of install/uninstall. Something you don't really think about until you do it and realize how easy it is to remove for dealership visits. It is especially useful for our purposes since we are always toggling back and forth between NA and FI Openflash map development.

Cheers,
Shiv

Luck if you look on the first post you can see my numbers with oft and e85.

Im curious to see how your header reacts with both systems. Should be some interesting numbers to look at when you come down.

I've been waiting for someone to compare the ESC with headers to see if there is a noticeable increase. This will be awesome!!

That's the plan. I suspect we will see good gains with the header. And then more with a cat-back exhaust.

Unless I missed something (possible since I am on the crappy work computers) it looks like 220whp is the most shown in the dyno charts in the first post. I think with e85, a proper tune, and good headers, the 250 mark should be totall achievable. At least 210-225 in the torque department.

That would be mine without headers. So shiv will be beating that soon

to shiv: Maybe this is a given, but will you give us data points on the tuned systems with and without the header? I like the idea of buying both the oft and ofh as a package with a discount(if this is still going on), but as funds are limited, I would really like to see you tune both setups for an equal comparison.

@shiv@vishnu, I really hope you hit 255 this weekend (~300 Crank).

Just some numbers:

100% More torque = 310 Crank ~= 260

50% More HP = 300 ~= 255

300WHP (I still think this is possible) ~= 355 Crank HP. That would be a 77.5% increase in power!

Lets be realistic.

Presently, @Sojhinn Dynoed 45-75% more TQ exactly where you want it... 2500 to 4500 rpm. Using E85. That's gotta be adequate? No?

This. Headers won't add 75 whp...

The HP gains are a bit unrealistic, but lets be honest, 100% more torque should be possible with a good set of headers since that is right in the torque dip.
