Damn, I take it there's still a ton of gravel on Mines then like the last time I drove it. Sorry to hear about your windshield

To be honest, it was kind of my fault. I knew there would be gravel and I was following @pumice a bit closer than I should've with that in mind. I was even talking to myself during the drive saying I should back off a bit because of it. Oh well.

I know we usually have our drives on Sat mornings, but today's Blipshift shirt seemed oddly related.

http://blipshift.com/

Don't get me wrong, I love going to my local C&C, and sure, we stand around looking at each other's cars for the first 30 mins or so, but we prefer hitting the road

Interesting. Should we make a knock off shirt similar to that? Lol

Drove from Santa Clara (work) to home last night via Mt Hamilton/Mines. 93 miles door-to-door and just under 2 hours. Unpleasantly pebbled turns before the observatory. And "Slippery when NOT so wet" around the observatory should be posted frequently, especially the downhill side. Construction vehicles must have just been thru parts of Mines - cloud or a haze of dirt and gravel in certain areas. Nice of someone actually combing the road and pushing the larger fallen rocks nicely onto the shoulder. They just happened to have left the really smaller ones in the middle. All part of being a nice solo drive thru one of our backroads.

LOL and that car is clearly a Subaru. which is a little odd given that I don't think most of us go to a C&C to look at Subies. Nor is it a really common C&C kind of appearance, at least around here. More about exotics or classic cars. But that's Silicon Valley for you, maybe in other parts of the country it really is a gathering of Subies.

some similar shirt ideas for 86DRIVE:
"I don't always drink coffee, but when I do my gear changes are a little bit quicker."

"I don't drink coffee -- but I have meets at cafes all the time."

"I don't always drink coffee, but when I do it's decaf so my steering and throttle inputs stay smoother."
