Worth what? What do you hope to get out of one? Help us get some perspective on your goals, and we can use that measurement to affirm for you the effectiveness of an intake. Please also be aware that they are not all going to have the same design, aesthetically or purposefully, so some choices will be better suited to a goal than others.

In general, money wise, does the performance increase with an intake or is my 2017 oem is just fine? Thanks!!!

Welcome to the forum!

This has been talked about before.... Tip: use google to search. type in "ft86club" and what you are interested in, Like "ft86club best intake" or what ever. You will actually find things this way.

I had the stock intake for years. I recently upgraded to a silicone inlet tube and a K&N drop in filter. I would consider this mod to be mainly cosmetic. To take full advantage of an intake (or ANY mod for that matter) you will need a tune. So, aside from the intake sound and the look, intakes are not going to give you a boost in performance that you can feel.

EDIT: Damn, that thing is expensive. I think that OFT would be a better way to spend that much, if performance is your goal.

Good luck!

Just buy a K&N drop in filter and OFT. Intakes arent worth it. Then get a header and use the OFT to gain you some hp

If money isn't an issue get all your bolt on and then get it dyno & tuned, you would have to use ECUTek for any non-OEM intake
