debadging a car just to leave the holes or filling the holes with plugs seems cheap as heck. cleanest way to fill the holes would be to have someone weld a tiny penny sized steel plate behind each hole. then fill in the hole with bondo and smooth. or if u want to be old school u can heat up some lead and fill em in. then get a body shop to paint it up.

Seems like a lot of work for a questionable result.

You are suggesting that people weld and bondo plastic components? I'm no expert, but I don't think that's gonna work.

well u wouldnt be welding up the front bumper lol. but for holes in metal, i would totally do what i explained. u dont even need to be an expert welder. all u have to do is tack on a small enough piece of metal so the bondo/lead that u r filling in there has some support. ive done this to an integra to fill in the holes from a wing.

I agree that leaving the holes visible would be pretty tacky and I would never do that. Not sure where the whole welding thing came from, but ummm... yeah.

Was thinking about this on my fr-s but i think it'll be useless because there is SCION decal on the top of the rear fender (where you lift the trunk from).

"What kind of car is that? I've never seen one!"

"It's a Mazda BRZ-S 86."

Yeah, it does break up the rear a little... makes it look more balanced. I will probably be putting "T" badges on it, but for now it's fun to see people trying to figure out what kind of car it is. Everyone asks. Everyone.

You can use dental floss to cut through the adhesive. I used dental floss, water, and goo gone to remove the Toyota cowboy hat from my MR2 Spyder to replace it with the JDM MR2 Badge.

Thanks for the pics. I'm going to check to see if the holes are in the same place for the scion badge and may do a emblem swap in the very near future.

The badge on the front bumper. Do you need to open up the hood to get access to the front emblem or do you simply use dental floss to get the emblem off.

Where are people getting there emblems at? Toyo dealership or is there someplace online? I'm really interested in where the wheelcaps came from as well.
