I just feel that lambo door are meant for lambo. Call me dumb or insecure, but I see so many other ways that such a sum could be invested

Awesome! On point. always wanted to see a DIY vertical doors.
But that commentary tho.
Felt like I was installing them myself.

Also in for the finished product pictures video. ( maybe driving with them up) lol

From the video, you still have to open the door the same way you normally would before flipping it vertical?

I think the whole functionality and luxury of the Lamborghini vertical doors is that they don't need to swing open at all. Never have to worry about swinging the door open and hitting something. My 2 cents. But I do understand that would need considerable changes to the vehicle side architecture to allow for that.

Yes, there is a post on the hinge which forces the door to be opened partially but you do not have to go fully open to raise the door. I believe that it can be ground down on the 86 because of the structure of the door to allow the door to open in a more vertical manner. It is my next project but I probably won't get around to doing it for a couple more weeks.

This would have been a cool modification if I was 13 years old and had just watched the first Fast and Furious movie. You should do some cool neon underglow lights to finish the look.
