No longer selling. I figured that I can always get a BRZ down the road. It would be hard to find another CR & wouldn't want to start over with the track s2k. I'll get a BRZ down the line.

Just to add... The dealerships have quite a few BRZs in the NYC area. Selling for MSRP.

This is what the car looks like at rest...

just curious, what dampers are you running on the 16k springs?

More specifically, a custom valved set of Tein SRC (not EVS spec) that were on loan to me for setup and feedback.

I'd be willing to put my CR against your car on track to demonstrate what a few well chosen parts can do versus a fully decked out car

In "full" trim (I've never actually run it in this state...):

BYS cooling plate
Tein SRC, custom valved (note my "almost stock" ride height)
J's racing front offset ball joint
SPC rear offset ball joint
BBS RG-R 17x8.5 with 255 RS3
J's Racing 70RR
FlashPro

Everything else is otherwise stock with no additional weight reduction, unless an aftermarket clutch and bucket seat count.

Some solid mods you have there.

I had Custom Tein SRC at one point. You should look into KW Clubsports.

But that's a downgrade! (and a rather substantial one...)

Alas, the SRCs are a loaner set that I won't have much longer

If I were to purchase my own set, at this point, the only two options I'd consider are SRCs valved to the spec of my loaner set (~4150 retail) or JRZ RS (~5700 retail). While the KW work, IMO, they're not really suited for track duty with modern tire compounds; KW's stubbornness and refusal to update their product for modern tire compounds really shows. Their products for strut fronts are a great value, but not the V3/CS for the s2k. The problem here is similar to the brake problems that S2ks have: the car was designed 15 years ago for compounds available 15 years ago, not today's stuff. A 255 RS3 is easily sticker than the 205/225 R-comps that were run on s2ks when the car first came out.

You can read the woes of trying to get custom valved V3/CS on S2ki's R&C subforum... KW swears that their shocks are perfect and that we can't possibly improve them.

kind of off topic, but i'm interested in @CSG Mike's opinion.

what "solution" would you recommend to achieve some negative camber on the BRZ? i'm pretty set on some SPC camber bolts at the front, but i'm unsure about the rear. possibly the stock lower control arm with an adjustable one? i figured these parts will get me about -1.5 degrees of camber.

i suppose you could also get some lowering springs for additional camber, but they'd have to be pretty similar to the stock springs, otherwise you're going to need to upgrade to some aftermarket dampers.

It's not an issue that we've run into since we're currently on coilovers that are fully height adjustable (for camber in the rear) and have a camber plate + crash bolt in the front...
