The light cutoff is laser-beam like , but you will get a very slight amount of leak from the DRL's. When I say slight amount, I really do mean a slight amount.. they aren't really well defined, so it's not like you can watch them as you drive around. it looks like a very soft flashlight. It has never really bugged me
Thanks! If you manage to snag a picture, post it here. Would love to see the end result

I recently got this retrofit kit for my Winjets, and was curious if I needed the add a circuit if I wanted the DRLs to work like they normally do? I.e. not always on I guess you'd say?

I am sure you can probably just tap into the DRL wire, but I don't have any instructions on how to do that. I know there is a DRL module under one of the head lamps, I would just T tap into the red wire.

Just an FYI for anyone doing the constant DRL mod, the add a ciruit that OP linked is the wrong one. You need the one for newer cars which uses a much smaller fuse.

I had to run to the auto store to pick up a new one cause the one from amazon didn't fit

Found this on other thread:

Winjet LED bar use 6 5050 LED each side. it should be easy to swap them out with switchback LED and add extra wire route for the amber turn signal.
