Yes, I checked my order and they goofed up.

The 1280 is small and looks like the "1290"s in the .5 dump pack.
So, I just got off of the phone with AtBatt and they're overnighting the correct battery to me. Talk about great customer service!

Looks like the Friday night install is still on!

Rob said it's something wrong with the controller. He is going to send me a different one. Thanks for the advice though everyone.

Also I want to add that with everything that has been going on Rob has maintained EXCEPTIONAL customer service! I am glad he stands behind his product as well as he does.

Does anyone know what the amp draw from the battery charger is? I am considering both a phantom ESC and an upgraded stereo and am trying to determine whether I will need to have the alternator rebuilt.

From what I know, it's about the same as your rear defroster.

130 amp alternator on these cars is apparently more than enough.

25A recharge rate from the stock power unit to the 24v dump.

50A if you have the dual recharge like I do. It is currently not available though, still in testing.

I'm running the ESC 1.5x battery pack with a 900w RMS amp (Alpine PDX-V9) with no issues. As soon as the Aux Recharge pack is available I'll be adding that.

Thanks, very helpful. I will likely have right around 600w RMS, so it sounds like everything should work out.
