Im getting a lot of love for the GrimmSpeed and I appreciate everyones input. Do any come with a warranty or have the ability to replace just the shocks. I imagine at some point in time they will blow.

I've had the grimmspeed for about a year, they are top quality and I got them for $100 at a subaru meet. The net weight gain is negligible if you drop the prop rod, and honestly they're just convenient as hell.

The struts aren't going to have to be replaced for years. Maybe a decade or more. I wouldn't worry about it, the factory hood struts on my 11 year old 3-series were still in perfect shape when I traded it in.

I have been testing Stabilus (actual oem check the trunk) struts for about a year now, and they are doing great. Hopefully Advanced will start distributing them before the end of the year.

This. I'm very particular about my parts purchases and the Grimmspeed Struts are phenomenal. The thing that makes the kit are the brackets. They are very well thought out and designed.

Got myself Grimmspeed hood struts. One of them was defective out of the box. They shipped me a replacement kit (complete kit!), free of charge, to my door, no problems.

Service is awesome with Grimmspeed, you can't go wrong. They work perfectly and I couldn't recommend them more.

Just installed mine. The quality on these are top notch, fit perfectly in place, and probably the sturdiest out of all the kit out there. Closing and opening was a breeze. My only downside is when closing. It requires an extra tip-toeing for a 5'-2" Haha! These don't just make opening/closing a breeze but looks amazingly good! Thanks GS!
