EDFC PRO Strut kit and height adjustements

Hello,
can anyone that has already installed the EDFC Pro system here help me, I am trying to understand this:

In order to adjust the ride height on the tein coilovers the correct procedure is to loosen the bottom mount locking ring and then rotate the whole coilover assembly clockwise or counterclock wise, depending if you want to lower or rise the car. That's the way I alsways did. Then screw tight the ring once again.. the end.

Now that I have to install the EDFC pro I have to install the strut kit, based on the videos I have seen, these brakets prevents the strut type coilover to rotate and save the wirings.
But does that mean that I will not be able to adjust the ride heght with this mounted on the coilovers?

You can. You need to either remove the motor, or disconnect the harness so the motor can spin freely.

Really? that's good news!
so basically what are those brackets doing if the strut can rotate with them? I probably didn't get how the work very well....

There won't be a speed signal line, it's derived from the wheel speed sensors and will be sent over CANBUS to the cluster.
