Maybe I should lie to you so you can have a right answer for once. Not some made up half hazards you think of.

My engineering work on a "car" was done for a coworker of mine for his sons jr dragster. Nothing fancy just run off the mill brake brackets, and gas pedals. So there you go. And it was more of a reverse engineering.

From a corrosion engineering perspective, the pinch welds are a pretty crappy place to have hidden paint damage..

I'll keep mine intact, thank you.
