BRZ 13 and 17 headlights

So my friends got a 13 brz, i got a 17 brz. we are going to trade but theres an issue. When the headlights from the 13 brz go onto the 17, the C lights dont turn on but the blinker and headlights do. When the 17 headlights go one the 13 brz, the C lights turn on and headlights as well but not the turn signal. Its like theyre reversed lol. Anyone done headlight exchange before? What will i need to do to be able to have the lights functioning properly on each brz?

You're going to have to do some pin swapping. Bring it to a custom auto shop and they should do it for you right quick if you don't have the tools and knowhow to do it yourself. That's what I did. They even fixed the dealership's bunk wiring job on the foglights

I think it was about $140. They had to do all kinds of fiddling because for some reason the dealer wired the foglights where the switch toggled connection to ground instead of connection to power. This was causing us to blow a fuse and it took a while to figure out. Once we had that settled actually repinning the headlights and soldering them took ~20 minutes and I think I was charged $140 for the ordeal. I also showed them how to take the bumper off and how to install the headlights, so that probably brought the cost down a little. Would have been a lot less without the mystery of the blown fuse

fyi I was installing new headlights so that's why things were more confusing. If you were to show up with the headlights already in the car I bet it would be a lot less
