It seems like the entire internet has run out of 215/45/17. Does anyone know where or how to get a hold of these tires for a decent price?

I found 4 at performance plus tire, but they can't guarantee they are newer than 2013(!!).

Check the date....? It should show week and year the tire was made.

Elite Performance in Burlingame, CA is where a lot of the 86DC guys go to get SX2 and they're a series sponsor as well. Great folks there and will help you for any other automotive needs (maintenance, work done, etc). A site which often has them as well is Tirecrawler.

i got mine from performance in lb and i never bothered to look at the date. people dont seem to think the age affects this tire too much since its not super soft to begin with.

I'd like to hear more. I expect there will be some sets needed by the CO crew, as 86 Cup is now a thing here.
