I wish I would have had a chance at that deal when I bought mine last month. The black tips are amazing.

It's a pretty neat site for knowing if you're getting a good deal or not, I almost always check it before I buy anything on Amazon. There's browser extensions you can use to pop it up on any amazon page you're visiting, too.

Anyone notice water dripping from the band clamps when you haven't started the car in a while? (Mainly the joint where the axle pipe meets the rear muffler) -- Usually happens if you just idle the car after a cold start.

I'm torqued to 45ft/lbs and the dripping goes away after you drive a little bit. Not sure if its a leak or condensation.

Does anybody have experience with this exhaust being used in winter? How does it hold up?

I have mine on order now, and I'm debating whether to wait until spring to throw it on.

Holds up just fine. It'll sound different and make you wonder if there's a leak or if your car has a UEL header. I've driven it through snow, ice, salt, dinged it, scraped it, in temperatures ranging from damn near 40 C to -30 and still sounds great and no leaks.

Great, Thanks for the info.
Winter conditions change the tone? Very interesting.

The only thing I'm Particularly curious about is the cold start. My neighbors may hate me as I head to work at 5:30am

Approaching 3 winters now, haven't rusted out yet.

Cold starts for me are around 1500-2000 rpm depending on the temps during fall/winter season. If your car is still on stock header, you'll be fine. No cat, good luck!

Great, thanks, I noticed in colder than -10 is holds revs for a while longer too.
I plan to keep the header stock until I run out of warranty. I've researched enough to know this exhaust is designed around a otherwise OEM setup.

I've got the FT86SF catted UEL on my radar. That is the only header that I've seen paired up that doesn't sound abnoxiously loud.

Yeah, it seems to me like I usually get the longer warmup revving at anything below about 40 degrees F. It's not too loud (don't know what it would sound like in colder temperatures, we rarely get much below freezing here) but it's loud enough that I'll get a look from the neighbor if they're out in the yard while I'm sitting there letting the car warm up loudly for a minute.
