What % of BRZ owners are on a forum?

Considering the FRS and BRZ are aimed at a younger audience, I'd assume the expectation is that most of their owners would be adept in using the internet. With the low(er) amount of cars produced compared to the Accords and Camrys of the world I think this combo would lead to a higher percentage of owners being part of a forum.

Thoughts?

Clearly, the only people who can vote on this are going to be people who... Are members of a forum.

even so there will be a lot of people who buy this car because it looks good or whatever reason and have no intention of really learning about this car or talking about it like all us forum users do.

Ive seen 7 FRS' and only 4 are on here in my area and ive seen 3 BRZs and 2 are on here...so 4/7 = .571 + (2/3) or .666 which means the percentage of my area from my observations = .618...which from the poll above...is pretty damn close.

Have everyone check in with VIN# then divide number of check ins with total sales for U.S.
Going to be one long thread though.
If counting FRS, there has to be a forum member count somewhere, then divide by total number of FRS/BRZ sold to date.

The poll in the OP could be changed to make sense. If it were to ask "what % _do you think_ is on the forum". Then it's kinda okay if everyone does his own mini-poll like the quoted post does and reports the result as his vote.

only certain people will buy this car, because it is for a limited market.
it's too small, and has limited practicality.from a safety perspective, you do not want to get hit hard in this car, regardless of the safety features, you will get hurt, because of no mass, too small.the back seats are useless,so to actually transport people,it is limited, and it's gas mileage is matched, and /or beaten by many larger cars.it has limited cargo space, and truthfully, except for exceptional handling that can be duplicated with spring rate change, and updated
roll bars and shocks, what good is it? it's really just a toy for people with some extra dough laying around...just sayin'

You also have to realize, that this isn't the only FR-S/BRZ/GT86 forum out there, I've seen at least 3 so far with google, so even if you do the member count from this forum it wouldn't be accurate.

I take offense to that. this car is pracitical to *me*. i dont have kids, i dont need or like big cars. i think the HP/driveabiltiy etc is perfect. and i most certainly do not have cash just "lying around". this is the only car i own, and I'm enjoying the shit out of it, that's what's good about it.

Anyway, back on topic, I haven't seen any BRZs in ATL at all, although there are quite a few on the forum. i have seen many FRSs though, and so far it looks like none of *those* guys are on the forum.
