Not that anything is wrong with my current clutch YET, but I'm thinking of snagging the STI one as a replacement once it does go out. Car has 45k miles and I've been teaching young boys and girls how to drive a manual on it. Not too bad of clutch burns, but combining that with my racer style, I'm just counting down... although, it's NOT my crappy WRX transmission, it's an Aisin, so I might be okay. It doesn't feel like there's any slop in engagement or anything. I'm just preparing for the worst, because my 2011 WRX needed a clutch swap at just 20k miles. My STI and Forester were fine, both over 40k miles.

Any ever read any feedback on the STI clutch?

Better description here on the clutch and clutch cover:

http://www.trdparts.jp/english/86_pe...owertrain.html

I'm thinking will probably get the STI clutch kit and the mount / bushing kits together and install them all in one shot. Maybe next year.

Like if the clutch grabs better, wouldn't the car need better drivetrain mounts?

Such heaviness, that clutch. Such lightness, that flywheel.

Anyone try these out with the TiC steering rack bushings, or any rack bushings? Looking for feedback... pun intended

These are the bolts to stiffen up/ reinforce the rack. Basically the bolt threads all the way in and goes through a spacer on the other side of the subframe.

Comparison to OEM bolt

Parts you will need

Got some of my stuff in this week and just realized I ordered the wrong push button start (apparently not the only one). Does anyone know the method BugeyedWagon used to get his to work?

Hope all goes well with the push start install...did ur shipment come with instructions for the emblem install? Got mine last month but no diagram...looks easy enough but knowing my luck, I'll do it wrong and it'll fall off while I'm driving haha

I installed it last night with a buddy. I didn't get any diagram and kind of played it by ear, but I think it's correct. Took a lot longer than expected. I also couldn't find anything else on the internet. I could do a write up this week on how I did it if it would help.

Garage
Took my keys out of my pocket to unlock my apartment during lunch...come to see that my STi key fob cover was GONE! I freaked out. Searched laundry, around the house, in the parking lot...nowhere to be found. Decided to check the garage and on the way...lone behold, it was in the middle of the road just outside of it! Whew, saved me 50 dollars. Pretty sure I ran over it this morning haha. It is still in great shape. Talk about some good durability.

On another note. The more I look at the original STi lip (not the gurney flap, the STi trunk lip) the more I want it. Something about it is appealing to me.
