Haha, perhaps a better suggestion would be "buy rebuildable shocks"?

So what's going on with the bbq? It needs to be soon if we're going to have it. Personally, my car's going into storage at the end of the month. I'm sure others will be going away soon too.

Side note: Kwame's going away for 28 years!

I haven't much from anybody about it. If you have an idea of where to meet up just throw it out there.

Get a modified pedal???

On delivery, the clutch engagement was high enough that my heel was off the floor when engaging it. Seeing as the engagement is about 90% controlled with an inch or two of pedal travel, this means shifting smoothly was nigh impossible if the road surface wasn't perfectly smooth. It's a hell of a lot easier now I can keep my heel planted.

And I keep seeing a Red FR-S on Woodward, usually parked near or at the Redcoat Tavern in Royal Oak. Anyone we know?

They do make a special pedal that is setup for heel toe. I don't sell them because people use them on the street and run into things then sue the race shop that sold it to them for not properly warning them it was dangerous to bolt your break pedal to your clutch pedal. But for people that are rev matching challegened like myself they are a great way to learn.

Ack, I am kicking myself for forgetting to post this.

There is a Corvette Club Auto X today at Livonia. On-site registration is $40 I believe.

http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/...event_id=13916

I will be there as this might be the last event of the season. Hope I can run into (figuratively) one of you guys there.

WRX

My buddy is getting his business started and decided he needed a less boy racery car to meet with clients in so he's getting rid of his WRX. He may be interested in selling individual upgrades if people are interested as well but don't ask about the wheels. If he decides to swap those out I've got dibs.

Sorry I dropped the ball on finalizing the picnic. I just got buried at work and couldn't find much time to log on here or do any additional homework or planning.

I'd still be game for trying one last time.. maybe we just pick a restaurant and meet in a parking lot.. that takes a lot of time out of the planning aspect of buying food and figuring out where to cook, etc..

Maybe we pick a restaurant near Woodward on a Friday evening.. then we can all roll into one of the fast and furious parking lots together and hang out???

Sounds good to me I plan on have my car out and about untill we start seeing ice on the roads I know the woodward group is still going out there and they are up to their typical shenanigans. I joined the group on face book mostly just for laughs.

I'm typically busy on fridays but i can move plans around for an twins dinner meet. I'm planning on putting my car away first weekend in November so if it's after that, I'll be rockin in my prelude.

So protip, if you guys have a project that requires a switch radio shack has one that is the exact same color and texture as the panel with the trunk release. Mine is a little further to the left than I'd like because I used the mounting nut, but if you were willing to epoxy it you could move it more to the right and it would look damn near OEM. Not quite...but super close.
