I think it was more along the lines that he was at a gaint track and only got to drive the car on a small go kart track with lot of restrictions which is weird cause I remember the other reviews saying that Toyota let them have free reign and Subaru had lots of restrictions

When I first got interested in these cars, that is what I wanted to see the most! I do really hope they do an episode with the both of them.

There is no way the FR-S will be priced at 25k. The BRZ was annouced at 24k and Scion said it will be the cheaper of the two, nice try Top Gear.

GT86 is still restricted to 197HP in Japan... BRZ is at least 200 HP like the FRS. Are you guys quoting prices in European currency?? |

I expect this thread will get locked. Anything with facts about the origins of this car tends to go that way.

"I only did one mile in the GT86, while Ollie spent a whole day with Scoob."
How do you do a review with only one mile of driving? Sounded positive about the BRZ and the article turns negative with the GT86, yet they are the same car.....sounded more like politics being talked about than the actual car. |

@Mr.Jay I know what you mean, but it seemed like he really wanted people to know this was mostly builty by Subaru which is really insignificant to the test drive. Quotes like "Engine is a Subaru boxer four with Toyota direct injection. Or that's what we've been led to believe..." like hes on a mission to discredit Toyota on everything with this car.
@AeroWRX I understand the restrictions, he said there was no way a Fr-S would be priced at $25grand but the review was for a Gt-86 which comes almost loaded with nav, alcantara seats, warmers, hid/leds etc. which the scion does not have but can be compared to the BRZ we will be getting here in the states which will be around $25 from what we know at the moment. |

That is what I have been asking for along with others on here. No turbo Subaru. Give us a high revving NA.
